Today's Canadian IP Thought Leaders podcast featured Andrew Hansen, whose company Jyve is one of the most popular Skype applications. Jon Arnold talked to Andrew about the culture of Skype, both in terms of what makes them successful, and how things will change under eBay. Andrew also shared his insights about CES, which he recently attended.

Andrew is a serial entrepreneur and is; as his blog says (beyondthebleedingedge.blogspot.com) on or beyond the bleeding edge with upcoming and new communication technologies. As an active participant in the Skype community, and member of the Skype Developer Advisory council, he has consulted with many established hardware and web startup companies on embracing presence and VoIP communication into there overall strategy. Clients include Jyve, KhaosLabs, Skype, Multi-link Inc, Skylook and many other Fortune 500 companies based in NA and Europe.
Prior to starting Virtual Communications in 2003, Andrew had a storied career in IVR and CTI development and deployment internationally, working with companies such as Nortel, Lucent and Excendia developing emerging sales channels for VoIP and unified messaging solutions worldwide.
