Foundation Capital funds total over $1.1 billion and include Harvard, Yale, CalTech, the Hewlett Foundation and MacArthur Foundation as investors.

Charles joins Foundation Capital after successfully building two companies from early start-up through more than $100 million in sales. Before Foundation, Charles was a member of the founding executive team at Tellme Networks. Charles led Tellme in raising one of the largest private financing rounds after the Internet bubble, adding $125 million in cash to the company balance sheet during August 2000. Prior to Tellme, Charles was the founding VP of Business Development for @Home. He established the @Media division in 1996 and assisted in the $7B acquisition of Excite.
