On this week's podcast, Jon spoke with Mark Farmer, Director of Marketing for QuickPlay Media. Based in Toronto, QuickPlay is emerging as a strong enabler of mobile media applications for both Canadian and U.S. carriers. Mark provided some background on how mobile media has evolved and the kinds of applications that are driving demand today. Of particular note was his discussion about the variety of mobile media offerings they are enabling for VH1, and the characteristics that have made them successful amidst other larger and better-financed competitors.
