Laura spoke with Ronald Raffensperger the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Sylantro Systems.
Ron has over 30 years of experience in product management and ma rketing positions in the telecom industry, most recently at Network Focus, Inc., which provides advanced outsourced voice and data services for small businesses, including provisioning of IP telephony systems. He has also held senior positions at Siemens, ROLM/IBM, Telebit Corporation and General Telephone. He was also vice president, Marketing at Objectivity (a leading provider of object-oriented databases) and vice president, Sales and Services at Upshot (the first web-based CRM application provider -- purchased by Siebel). Ron earned a BSEE from Iowa State University and attended the MBA program at Santa Clara University.
