Citel is the VoIP Migration Company. Citel offers service providers and enterprises value and business case based VoIP migration options for premise or hosted VoIP deployments leveraging existing infrastructure and resources, while at the same time offering next-generation services and applications.
Laura spoke with Mike Robinson, Chief Executive Officer and Director at Citel.
Michael Robinson is a 20-year veteran of the Telecommunications and Information Technology (IT) industry. Michael joined Citel Technologies in 2000 as director and chief technology officer and was appointed chief executive officer in March 2003. Prior to joining Citel, Michael spent over 12 years with the Active Voice Corporation, where he managed software development and advanced technology products from the company's start-up phase through its IPO, including the patented TeLANophy technology – a pioneering software development in IP telephony in the early 1990s. Later, Michael also served as director of corporate business development at Active Voice until just before the acquisition of Active Voice by Cisco Systems.
