Thomson Cirpack - Exhibiting at VON Europe Autumn 2006
CIRPACK, Thomson’s NGN business unit, develops voice switching platforms that can be connected to TDM, ATM and IP networks to deliver advanced phone services to all types of subscribers simultaneously and provide seamless migration of wireline networks to IMS/TISPAN architectures. It provides carrier-grade reliability, scalability and regulatory features for massive deployments of broadband telephony and IP Centrex, for instance, as well as of legacy PSTN infrastructures delivering ISDN or POTS services. With about 3 million Class-5 licences deployed, and some 70 telco customers in 25 countries, CIRPACK is the largest softswitch vendor in Europe.
Mikey spoke with Fabien MAISL the Director of Marketing and Partnerships for Thomson NGN Group, Cirpack.
Fabien MAISL is Director of Marketing and Partnerships for Thomson’s Network Intelligence Solutions, the company’s business unit developing VoIP softswitches, IPTV middleware and IMS core-network platforms. Fabien brings over 15 years of international experience in positioning and launching innovative products in the telecom market.
In prior position, he was Product Marketing Manager with CS Telecom, Director of Marketing with Netopia Europe and Product Marketing Manager with Apple Europe. Fabien holds a master degree in networks engineering from the French National Institute of Telecommunications.
